EQUIPMENT AND SAFETY
-
Yes, we have 11’6” and 10’6” rigid stand up paddle boards available to rent.
-
Yes! Our kayaks and paddle boards fit in portable backpacks with their accessories with the largest measuring approximately 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide. Most customers find that 2-3 inflatable paddle board or kayak backpacks can fit in the trunk of a standard sedan. This allows you to easily take your gear to your favorite paddle boarding or kayaking spots in Southwest Florida.
-
Inflating the paddleboard typically takes about 5-10 minutes using the provided dual action hand pump. For more convenient inflation, you can add an electric pump to your rental.
-
If air is blowing out of your paddleboard after you remove the hose, it means the valve is not in the inflate position. To prevent air from escaping, ensure that the valve pin is in the “UP” position, which is the correct position for inflating.
1. To Inflate: Ensure the valve pin is in the “UP” position. Press and turn the valve pin counter-clockwise until it pops into place. This position keeps the valve closed and prevents air from escaping.
2. To Deflate: If you want to deflate the board, press and turn the valve pin clockwise to the “DOWN” position. This opens the valve, allowing air to escape.
-
Yes, every paddleboard and kayak rental includes a PFD with whistle that is required to be worn for your safety. We also provide an ankle leash for paddle boards that is also required to be worn, which helps keep you connected to your SUP board. Your safety is our priority, and we ensure you have all the necessary equipment for a safe and enjoyable experience.
-
We strongly suggest a helmet be worn when riding a bike or scooter. We have them available as an addition to your rental.
